Criollos de Valdés: Horse Riding in Peninsula Valdés

These horse rides last approximately 2 hours and offer direct contact to nature. On the back of real creole horses we ride along the beaches around Puerto Piramides and its bay, and from June through December we can also view Southern Right whales (Eubalaena australis).
The rides starts at the ACA Motel in Puerto Piramides, one of the milestones of the re-foundation of the town in the early ’70 based on tourism.

We ride down the street that leads to the tide gauge towards the main beach area. We then cross the reef zone, where there is the town’s water pup and access the beach known as Piedra Guacha, continuing the ride along the coastline of Golfo Nuevo towards the Caves. To conclude, we ride back along the beach. The horse rides are subject to reigning weather conditions.
Tours: 8:30 am and 6:30 pm, according to the time of year.
